Russian Ag Bank IFRS net loss narrows 21.8% in January–September

MOSCOW, Nov 23 (PRIME) -- The net loss of Russian Agricultural Bank narrowed by 21.8% on the year to 9.58 billion rubles in January–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a report on Friday.

The net interest income rose 14% on the year to 55 billion rubles, while the net commission and fee income gained 8% to 16 billion rubles.

Assets of the bank went down to 2.83 trillion rubles as of September 30 from 2.89 trillion rubles as of the end of 2017.

The combined loan portfolio before reserves increased 15.2% in the period to more than 2.82 trillion rubles. The corporate loan portfolio went up 14.5% to more than 1.8 trillion rubles, while the retail loan portfolio increased 18.3% to 430 billion rubles.
